Peter Monroe Photographs in September
What a wild opening! As soon as it turned 5pm, the lights went out on the block. Little did we know, there were multiple tornado warnings going on. Wind came and we had lots of rain. But people came out anyway, and peered at black and white prints by the light of some donated bike lights. The electricity was out for over an hour. Which kind of gae me an idea for a primitive cave show. Keep it dark and give people flashlights--cave paintings on the wall, etc.
Here's Peter hanging out on the Avenue talking with some of the visitors to the show, before the rain and wind.
